Freedom chevrolet san antoni10/31/2022 ![]() ![]() I took my car to this dealership hoping for better service than at the last Chevy dealership, Northside Chevrolet, and Freedom was was doing well until this situation. This is incorrect as I discovered later that my car is not being repaired, nor are parts being ordered (which is what I was told by Vanderpot), but instead my car is sitting in their holding lot. Instead I was brushed off by the young woman who took my call, telling me that, “she was unable to see any details only that my car was ‘being repaired’”. Even after all of that, and getting the approval for my vehicle’s repair, and being notified by the warranty company that the repair has been approved, my car is still waiting to be serviced. Although at first Justin Vanderpot was helpful, I ended having to call my warranty company myself and gather all the paperwork for my repair approval. After seven weeks, my 2017 Chevy Volt is still waiting to be serviced and repaired. I will not return to your dealership.I cannot recommend this dealership for service. ![]() I think this is ridiculous and dishonest. The dealership then proceeded to charge for the cap replacement, and new fluid and flush. This dealership is the mechanic who have touched the car and is the only way the cap could have been loosened ( not properly resealed after the 16 December repairs). The cap had to be tapered with during the 16 December visit and not properly secured. The cap does just not come loose by itself. The dealership said the brake fluid cap was missing. We brought the car back in on 30 December to find out why this happened. Then on 29 December the low brake fluid indicator sounded. We have come to accept this from this dealership - but the main issue was this most recent visit was the blatant lies. no matter how many times we complete this survey the customer service does not improve. We consistently have trouble with customer service with this dealership. The driver/porter that picked up my truck in Roma, Jose, was very respectful. Other employees were courteous and genuine. It is disappointing that one person would ruin the whole experience. ![]() ![]() Did not enjoy my purchase nor my service at Freedom. Philip from sales has a way with words that makes you believe in all that he says. I regret giving a high rating on the delivery survey. I honestly don't think they ordered them until I called to check because no one had reached out to me. Freedom failed to keep me updated with the order. Long story short, truck only got the rims and tires because apparently they were not going to finish my truck in one day like they have said they would.īy the way, these rims and tires should have been on my truck since the first week of December. I needed the clear protective strip on the driver's door to be seems to be peeling off from the lower area (this product wasn't free.you all charged for it). I was told that my truck was getting the new tires and rims, that 3 recalls were going to be taken care of, washed (because it wasn't properly washed when I took delivery of the truck), and that for me to let them know of other things that needed to be taken care of. First of all, I did not have my truck serviced on, it was serviced on. ![]()
